Hashira Linear pendant light with a cylindrical fabric shade The Hashira pendant light resembles a traditional Japanese rice-paper lantern in design, although its lampshade is not made of paper but of fabric. The fabric is stretched over a metal frame, the struts of which are visible through the fabric and lend the light a graphic effect. The pendant light owes its name to its shape, as ‘Hashira’ is the Japanese word for ‘column’. The Hashira series of lights was designed by the design firm Norm Architects. Founded in 2008, the design studio works primarily in the fields of residential architecture, commercial interior design, art direction and graphic design; through its deliberately chosen name, ‘Norm’, it highlights the importance of standards and traditions in the fields of architecture and aesthetics. The studio’s designs result in timeless and durable products. - Dimmable using a triac dimmer (not included)
Lamp MastersThe Hashira Linear Pendant Raw from Audo Copenhagen is the perfect combination of calm and elegance that will transform any room. This pendant light, with its horizontal shape, is ideal for hanging over the dining table or desk where it creates a cosy atmosphere with its minimalist design. The amber-coloured lampshade in raw fabric gives a warm and inviting glow that is both functional for tasks and subtle enough to create a cosy atmosphere. The lamp is designed to float lightly in the room, suspended from the ceiling with thin wires, while the raw linen shade is held in place by magnets, eliminating the need for clumsy screws. With a dimmable and replaceable LED light source, you can easily adjust the brightness as needed. This pendant light is not only a light source, but also a stylish element that adds a touch of Scandinavian design to your home..
