Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based acrylic paint designed for a range of exterior and interior surfaces. It comes in a Semi-Gloss finish and is suitable for wood, plastic, galvanised steel, brick and cladding, making it a versatile choice for barns, stables, sheds and other outbuildings. The paint adheres to previously painted surfaces, including those with weathered bitumen, tar or varnish, and is suitable for both new and weathered substrates. It is quick to dry, offering a practical option where resists cracking, blistering and flaking are required, and is available in a 2.5L volume.

This product is designed for multi-surface use and delivers low odour performance for interior and exterior applications. It has low odour characteristics and provides self-priming capability, while remaining suitable for multiple surfaces. The finish is durable, helping to retain colour and protection in exterior environments, and the product is quick to dry, allowing faster project progress. The paint is manufactured by Bedec and is lightweight for handling.

Usage

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.
2. For untreated weathered wood, new wood, cement render, plaster, or porous substrates, dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water.
3. Apply an exterior knot block primer to knots before painting.
