Bedec BEDE2AK2010/46 Barn Paint Semi-Gloss Forest Green 5 Litre

Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based acrylic paint designed for exterior use on a range of surfaces. Ideal for barns, sheds, stables and other outbuildings, it provides a semi-gloss finish with strong colour retention. The product can be applied to wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, brick and cladding, and even on surfaces previously finished with tar, bitumen or varnish. It is suitable for both interior and exterior projects, delivering a low odour and fast drying performance.

The paint offers flexible application methods, including brush, roller or spray, and dries to touch within about two hours with re-coating possible after around four hours. For untreated weathered wood or porous substrates, you can dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water as a primer sealer. If knots are present in the substrate, apply an exterior knot-block primer to the knots before painting to help prevent issues.

This product is designed to resist cracking, blistering and flaking, and is self-priming for multi-surface use. It is supplied in a 5 L volume and is suitable for a wide range of exterior surfaces, delivering durable protection and good colour retention.

Usage

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.
2. For untreated weathered wood or porous substrates, dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water as a primer sealer.
3. Apply an exterior knot block primer to knots before painting.
