Bedec Barn Paint - Anthracite Semi-Gloss - 5 L

Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based acrylic paint designed for exterior use across a range of surfaces, including wood, plastic, brick, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, and cladding. With a semi-gloss finish, it delivers strong colour retention and flexibility to minimise flaking or cracking, making it suitable for protecting barns, stables, sheds and other outbuildings. It is designed to withstand outdoor conditions while remaining easy to apply by brush, roller or spray. For best results, ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from contaminants, and consider diluting the first coat on porous substrates with up to 30% clean water. An exterior knot block primer can be applied to knots beforehand to reduce bleed-through and help the topcoat perform.

This product is a versatile multi-surface exterior paint that can be applied to wood, plastic, galvanised steel, brick and even tar, bitumen and creosote. It provides resistance to cracking, blistering and flaking, helping maintain appearance and protection over time.

Usage

1. Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from contaminants before painting.
2. For untreated weathered wood, new wood, cement render, plaster, or porous substrates, dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water.
3. Apply an exterior knot block primer to knots before painting to minimise bleed-through.
4. Apply by brush, roller, or spray.
5. Allow touch dry in around 2 hours.
6. Re-coat after approximately 4 hours.
7. Apply at temperatures above 10°C.
