Bedec Barn Paint is a water-based acrylic coating designed for exterior surfaces, including wood, plastic, galvanised steel, brick, concrete, weathered substrates, and cladding. It features a semi-gloss finish and is formulated to flex with the substrate, helping to prevent flaking or cracking while delivering strong colour retention against UV exposure. This paint is suitable for barn, shed, stable, and other outbuilding applications, offering low odour and quick drying for interior and exterior use. Touch dry occurs in about 2 hours with re-coating possible after 4 hours, and it can be applied by brush, roller, or spray. To optimize adhesion on untreated weathered wood or porous substrates, the first coat may be diluted with up to 30% clean water as a primer sealer. Knot-primer treatment is recommended to prevent knots from telegraphing through the finish.
