Bedec BEDE2AKB001/40 Barn Paint - Semi-Gloss Light Grey - 2.5 Litre

Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based acrylic paint designed for exterior use on a range of surfaces, including wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, brick, and cladding. Suitable for barns, stables, sheds and other outbuildings, it is available in a semi-gloss finish that offers good colour retention and protection against cracking, blistering and flaking. The paint can be applied over previously painted surfaces, including those treated with weathered bitumen, tar or varnish, and is self-priming for multiple surfaces with low odour.

This multi-surface product dries quickly to create a durable coating that resists weathering. It is suitable for interior and exterior use, with guidance to apply above 10°C and to allow a re-coat after four hours. The product can be applied by brush, roller or spray, and is water-based, making for easier cleanup.

For porous or untreated substrates, the first coat can be diluted with up to 30% clean water. Before painting, ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contaminants, and apply an exterior knot block primer to any exposed knots.

Usage

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.
2. For untreated weathered wood, new wood, cement render, plaster, or porous substrates, dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water.
3. Apply an exterior knot block primer to knots before painting.
