Bedec Barn Paint BEDE2AKH003/46 - Magnolia - Semi-Gloss - 5 Litre

Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based acrylic coating designed for exterior surfaces on farm buildings and outbuildings. It is available in a semi-gloss finish that helps maintain colour and protection over time, and is suitable for a wide range of substrates including wood, plastic, galvanised steel, brick and cladding. The paint can be applied to surfaces previously painted, as well as those bearing weathered bitumen, tar or varnish. It’s a low-odour option for interior and exterior use, with quick drying times that support faster project completion.

For preparation, ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contaminants before painting. If applying to untreated weathered wood or porous substrates, the first coat should be diluted with up to 30% clean water as a primer sealer. To minimise bleed-through on knots, apply an exterior knot block primer before painting.

This formulation is designed to resist cracking, blistering and flaking, and can be brushed, rolled or sprayed on. Recoat is possible after four hours, with a touch dry time of around two hours, and the surface should be at a temperature above 10°C for best results.

Usage
