MATURATION: Aged for 11 years in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel (cask #1435), distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021 at a robust cask strength of 61.2% ABV. LIMITED RELEASE: Only 248 bottles were produced from this single cask, making it a rare and highly sought-after Islay expression for collectors and enthusiasts. TASTING NOTES: Rich peat smoke and sea spray on the nose, with vanilla, honey and ginger biscuits developing over time; the palate delivers smoked meats, pears in spiced syrup, white pepper and layered chocolate. NATURAL WHISKY: Bottled un-chill-filtered and without added colouring, preserving the full character and integrity of this heavily peated Islay single malt. 700ml bottle.
