Unlike CO alarms that run on replaceable AA batteries, there's no batteries to buy or forget to replace. The low battery warning will indicate when the battery is low. WALL MOUNT OR FREESTANDING: Fix it to a wall or stand it on a shelf near boilers, gas fires, cookers and wood burners. It's compact and portable for caravans, motorhomes and holiday lets. ALARM MEMORY: If the CO alarm activates in your absence, the alarm will continue to alert until there are safe levels of co. the red alarm indicator will continue to flash once every 4 seconds for 72 hours following activation to show co has been detected and the alarm has activated. CERTIFIED: Certified to BS EN 50291-1:2018 (homes) and BS EN 50291-2:2019 (caravans, motorhomes and boats), CE and UKCA marked. Suitable for homes in England, Wales and Scotland.
