A solvent‐borne, bituminous compound of a high build consistency containing a small percentage of fibrous filler. As a heavy brush coating for roof waterproofing and the resealing of existing roofs of mastic asphalt, roofing felt, corrugated iron and fibre/cement slates, lead, copper and zinc. All surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, dry and free from surface contaminants such as grease, rust and dirt. In order to prolong the effective life of the dried coating, it is recommended that it can be overcoated with Bond It SOLAR REFLECTIVE PAINT but leave for at least 10 days before applying the reflective coating.
