PATINATION OIL when correctly applied gives an evenness of colour to lead while its natural patina develops, it also prevents unsightly white staining. PATINATION OIL should be applied as soon as possible, immediately after each step of the lead work and certainly not later than the end of the working day. Lead must be completely dry before application of PATINATION OIL. Apply at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C. The lead to be treated should be clean, dry and free from cement, dust and loose debris that may affect adhesion.
