Bondloc B572 White Pipe Seal is a high-performance sealant designed for locking and sealing metal pipes and fittings. It cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leaks caused by shock and vibration. The thixotropic nature reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate. It provides chemical resistance to substances such as ethanol, motor oil, unleaded petrol and brake fluid. Notably, it does not fully cure until approximately 60 hours after application, allowing for re-alignment of elbows and joints. It replaces tapes and dopes for sealing, can seal against oils, gases, chemicals, water and steam, and assists in lubrication during assembly. The product is a white paste with a cure profile suited to slow, alignment-friendly setting, and it is designed for use with most metals and fittings within its specified temperature range and strength parameters.
