It has a reservoir that offers appreciable writing comfort: you benefit from a good autonomy of writing between each refill of ink. Its tank is removable for easier cleaning. It allows to obtain a very fine and precise calligraphy (calligraphy is the art of forming the characters of writing). The Speedball nib is also a paddle nib. It is metallic with a square tip and has a reservoir like the Bandzug. It is ideal for making Latin calligraphy (Uncial, Caroline, Chancellor, Round). The Plakat nib consists of a folded metal blade whose slits on the beak allow the ink to flow during the drawing. In gold metal, it is ideal for drawing large letters.
