GENTLY-SMOKED SLOVENIAN SINGLE MALT – The first peated single malt whisky from Slovenia, made by hand in Ljubljana. Built on smoked malted barley dried over burning peat, then double-distilled in our copper still and matured for 5 years in a flight of carefully selected casks. The result is a delicately peated, complex, elegant whisky — proof that the world's great whisky regions have a new voice in Central Europe. AGED IN SLOVENIAN OAK & EX-SCOTCH BOURBON CASKS – Our peated whisky is matured in two oak types working in concert: native Slovenian oak (giving distinctive floral, herbal, demerara-sugar character unique to our forests), and twice-used American oak casks that previously held smoky Scotch whisky (passing on a layer of seasoned smoke and bourbon-led sweetness). A maturation programme you'll find nowhere else. NON CHILL-FILTERED, NO COLOURING ADDED – We let the whisky speak for itself: no chill filtration (preserving natural oils and full-body texture), no caramel colouring (the colour is only what oak gives the spirit), and no artificial additives of any kind. Bottled at a generous 46% ABV — the connoisseur's strength, never reduced for cost. Real whisky, real wood, real time. FROM SLOVENIA — THE GREEN GEM OF EUROPE – Made by hand in Ljubljana at Broken Bones Distillery, set in a country covered 60% by forest. The maturation warehouses sit surrounded by untouched Slovenian woodland, allowing only the cleanest, purest air to breathe through the cask staves over 5 years. Founded in 2016 by three friends after a broken leg and a broken nose making whisky barrels — hence the honest name. SOFT PEAT, SMOKED ALMONDS, MOCHA & PEAR FINISH – Nose: soft peat with hints of ginger, curry, smoked almonds, putty and rich pistachio cream. Palate: delicate smoky phenols, sweet barley, gentle tannins, biscuity framework. Finish: smoky mocha, smoked almonds, green tea, soot and demerara sugar with a slightly salty aftertaste and touches of pear. Sip neat at room temperature, or with a single drop of spring water.
