ORGANIC WHITE MISO — OLD FAMILY RECIPE FROM NAGANO PREFECTURE, JAPAN — Made to an old family recipe in Japan's Nagano prefecture, this organic white miso offers a delicious balance of savoury and sweetness whilst still packing an umami punch. Made with organic soya beans (53%), cultured rice, sea salt and water — and nothing else. Free from artificial ingredients and preservatives. No refined sugar — just naturally balanced flavour. UNPASTEURISED — A LIVE PRODUCT WITH ONGOING NATURAL FERMENTATION — This miso is unpasteurised, meaning it is a live product with ongoing natural fermentation. Miso will naturally darken with time — this will not affect quality. Ongoing fermentation may cause the lid to bulge; it will still be safe to consume. Harmless white yeasts may develop from exposure to air — simply skim off. Keep refrigerated once opened.
