GOLD MEDAL GIN: Awarded Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Made using our own award-winning Aval Dor potato vodka as its base spirit. A GIN THAT STARTS IN OUR FIELDS: We grow the potatoes, make the vodka, then distil it with botanicals to create Aval Dor Dry Gin. Made from scratch on our fifth-generation Cornish family farm, from plough to bottle. TASTING NOTES: Juniper and coriander lead, followed by citrus peel and fresh fruit notes. Spice develops towards a dry finish with a touch of bitterness: a classic London Dry style for a characterful gin and tonic. COPPER STILLS & OUR OWN MINERAL WATER: We distil our botanicals with our potato vodka in handmade copper pot stills, then blend with mineral water drawn from the distillery’s own aquifer. SUNSHINE, RAINWATER AND THE LAND: Solar panels help power our stills, harvested rainwater cools them, and spent potato mash from making our base spirit returns to the fields.
