PoE splitters are used whenever a surveillance camera, access point or other device is to be powered only via the data line, but the device is not PoE capable. The network and PoE signals incoming via the LAN cable are separated from the splitter and the PoE signal is output separately from the network signal via the terminal block terminal block. While only the Ethernet signal is present on the RJ45 socket, the power supply for the device to be operated is provided separately with 12, 16, 24 or 48 volts. In addition to the PoE standard IEEE802.3bt (PoE++), IEEE802.3at (PoE+) and IEEE802.3af (PoE) are also supported. Output power: 1 amp at 48 volts / 2.3 amps at 12, 16 & 24 volts. The PoE splitter complies with Gigabit Ethernet standard with up to 1 Gbps and the aluminium housing is designed to conform to IP30 protection.
