VAN: This OEM style rear reversing camera fits the Renault Kangoo and Nissan Townstar from 2020 & the new Mercedes Citan launched in 2021. Your brake light should be approx 26cm wide and 5cm high and your van will look like the one in our pictures. This fits into the roof just above your double rear doors. It is not compatible with the single tailgate version rear door. There is a rubber grommet for accommodating the rear waterjet where fitted. DESIGN: This is a high level 3rd brake light complete replacement unit with a camera mounted onto it. You simply unplug the 2 pin connector supplying the power feed to your current brake light and plug it into the back of this unit instead. The camera provides a view behind your van looking downwards towards the rear bumper. The camera is in an adjustable bracket so you can tweak the final angle to your preference. OPERATION: The rear camera wires to your reversing light feed so it comes on when you select reverse gear. You could wire it to a 12v ignition feed if you wanted it always on. It is dual NTSC/PAL compatible and includes reversing guidelines (these can be deactivated if not required). 7" DASH MONITOR KIT: The kit includes a 10m RCA / Phono cable, 1 x power lead and the required composite adaptor cable. The 7" dashboard monitor also has its own power lead and comes with an adjustable bracket and sticky pad to attached to your dashboard or windscreen. SPECIFICATION: The colour camera works on 12v power with a CMOS lens at 720 x 480pixels quality with dual NTSC & PAL output. It has a 120 degree viewable angle with mirror image view and is IP68 waterproof. It is mounted in a small housing that offers some further angle adjusted if required.
