Standard UNSWITCHED B22 (22mm) BC Bayonet Cap Lamp Holder with shade ring - suitable for bulbs up to 200W (for SWITCHED B22 version, ElekTek Safety Switch available in separate listing) Maximum diameter 32mm, Height 48mm - 10mm M10 or 1/2" 26tpi threaded entry, reducing to 7mm cable aperture. This 22mm BC (bayonet connector) lamp holder is intended primarily for attachment to a male 10mm or 1/2" threaded tube - Integrated hollow EARTH terminal, wires from the inside so no wires are visible externally Internal locking screw mounted in a separate riveted & threaded base ensuring your lighting does not come apart with use (beware of cheaper, pressed type bases that cannot carry a locking screw) - loosen screw, thread onto existing threaded fitting and tighten locking screw before wiring Hand assembled - easy to separate for fitting: simply remove the thin upper shade ring by unscrewing anti-clocwise; hold base with the Earth terminal pinched between thumb and index finger and unscrew thicker lower ring by unscrewing anti-clockwise.
