EMLA Cream 5% 5 x 5g with 12 Dressings

EMLA Cream contains the drugs lidocaine and prilocaine. These are part of a class of medications known as local anaesthetics. Skin's surface is temporarily numbed by EMLA Cream. It is applied to the skin prior to certain medical procedures. This helps to alleviate skin pain, but you may still experience pressure and touch. Direction: It can be used to numb the skin before performing the following procedures: • Having a needle inserted (for example, if you are having an injection or a blood test). • Minor skin procedures. • Skin grafts of various types. • Leg ulcer cleansing and debridement. It can also be used to numb the genitals in adults before: • Getting injected. • Medical procedures such as wart removal. Ingredients; Prilocaine, Lidocaine, Carbomer 974P, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, sodium hydroxide and purified water.
