In 2005 the Nelstrop family designed and built the St George’s Distillery in Norfolk with the express purpose of producing the very finest English single malt whisky. Vanilla custard, slightly citrus with a hint of orange, spotted dick and rich dark chocolate. Creamy toffee and butterscotch. Subtle notes of liquorice. Slightly dry, dark chocolate, light honey. The subtle liquorice is there.
