Sika Black Jack-905 All Weather Roof Coating is a solvent-based, full-bodied black bitumen compound reinforced with fibres for extra strength. It dries to a tough coating and is designed for general waterproofing across roofing applications, non-plastic guttering, and structural steelwork. The product can be applied by brush and is resistant to rain wash-off almost immediately, making it suitable for winter use. It can waterproof and reseal a variety of roof coverings, including asphalt, built-up felt, concrete roof decks, cement sheeting, metal sheeting (iron, steel, zinc, and lead), slate and tiles. It may be used with rot-proof hessian reinforcement scrim or bitumen-coated glass fibre scrim, such as a glass membrane, and can also function as a vapour barrier on walls and roofs. Fast-drying and weatherproof, it provides a reliable roofing solution when applied by brush. The product is available in large capacity, suitable for extensive projects.
