Everbuild Black Jack Flashing Tape is a robust, lead-free flashing tape designed to provide a strong, waterproof seal by simply pressing it into place by hand. It features an aluminium foil carrier with a bitumen rubber adhesive, offering an economical, self-adhesive solution for replacing lead flashing and for repairs on roof ridges, gutters, and other flashing applications. The tape is available in multiple widths and lengths to suit a range of jobs. During application, cut to length, peel back a portion of the release liner, position the tape, and continue removing the liner while firmly pressing the tape to avoid creasing. Ensure intimate contact with the surface and that no air is trapped, then roll along edges and overlaps to seal them effectively. Overlaps should be at least 25 mm for a durable seal. This product is not made of lead, reducing theft risk and providing a lead-free flashing option. Storage should be in a cool, dry place in its original container, away from ignition sources. Shelf life is 24 months from manufacture when containers are kept intact and undamaged.
