Highland single malt with tropical fruit and soft spice, aged 8 years in a mix of first and second-fill American and Hungarian oak casks in a dunnage warehouse. Distilled in 2014, three cask types combine for a refined, balanced finish. Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch 004 Highland Single Malt Scotch 8 year old 48.8% ABV Nose: Madagascan vanilla leads a fruit-forward bouquet of poached pears, with a delicate crack of pepper—a warm, inviting nose that promises gentle sweetness and spice. Palate: Toffee, honey and rich nuttiness open the palate, followed by a vibrant yet elegant balance of honeydew melon, passion fruit, burnished citrus and sweet oak wood. Finish: Long, luxurious finish with honeyed vanilla and toffee lingering beside burnished citrus and tropical fruit, accompanied by subtle nuttiness and a final kiss of soft spice and oak.
