FILEY BAY SHERRY CASK RESERVE #6 - Our sixth release in this annual series is matured in first-fill ex-Oloroso casks from deep within our warehouse. SPIRIT OF YORKSHIRE - Pick the bottle up, and underneath you'll see a secret phrase... "Proudly Made of Yorkshire." Filey Bay is the first single malt whisky made in, and of, Yorkshire- created by us, from field to bottle, here on the coast. FILEY BAY - Our Single Malt's name reflects our local area. From the distillery window, we see the sea and the bay's curve. Our bespoke bottle captures the textures of the farm, soil, beach, and sky, embodying the essence of our surroundings. TASTING NOTES - Rich and complex with flavours of black treacle, fruitcake, blackcurrant jam and cola sweets. INCREDIBLY RARE - The last time we used only Oloroso casks for a Sherry Cask Reserve release was our inaugural bottling in 2020! Whisky Director Joe has been very excited about bottling this release – “not only is the colour spectacular but the depth and character of the spirit is a once in 5 year release.”
