The addition of a UV steriliser to your aquarium can assist with water clarity by killing off algae, micro-organisms, bacteria and parasites which may cause fish diseases. These filters also come complete with a foam pre filter sponge, and optional venturi pipe, allowing the water returning back to the aquarium to be oxygenated if required. This filter model has a 800l/h pump, and 9w UV steriliser built in. These internal filter can also be used alongside a main filter system purely for their UV steriliser aspect. Also comes complete with a UV bulb indication - allowing easy confirmation that the UV bulb is functioning and lit.
