HEAT DETECTOR FOR KITCHEN: The HW1-R mains powered heat alarm is for dusty, humid rooms where traditional smoke alarms can’t be installed. It will alert you to fires without false alarms from cooking fumes. ADDITIONAL FEATURES: The FireAngel heat alarm includes a test/silence button to mute false alerts and verify functionality, along with a low battery warning for added safety. INTERLINKED ALARMS: The HW1-R functions as a standalone unit or can be wired with up to 12 other mains powered smoke (SW1), heat (HW1), or carbon monoxide (CW1) alarms. All alarms will sound if one is triggered. SAFETY ASSURED: The HW1-R mains heat alarm includes a backup 9V battery and meets British Safety Standard BS 5446-2:2003. Designed for domestic use only, it includes a 5 year warranty.
