Handmade Parrot M pendant light made of rattan and abacá The Parrot M pendant light is made of rattan and abacá, a plant native to East Asia that is used to make Tau, fishing nets or ropes, for example. The handmade lampshade of the pendant light is reminiscent of this look and is made up of overlapping strips of different colours, creating unusual patterns. The lampshade thus becomes a special eye-catcher and also creates a Natur Akzent in the living environment. Parrot M is ideal for mounting above the living room or dining room table. The bulb holder is located on the inside of the lampshade and is surrounded by a diffuser. The Parrot M lamp collection was designed by Jette Scheib. Before setting up her own Studio in 2005, she studied product design at the Berlin University of the Arts. Since 2018, she has mainly focussed on interior and lighting design and draws inspiration from Natur and organic forms. The renowned French company Forestier is responsible for the production of the lights.

Parrot is a colourful lamp with a beautiful natural design that makes it a must-have in any relaxed and bohemian-inspired interior. The lampshade is made of rattan and abacá, which are hand-woven in a dense pattern and have a rough surface that adds a tactile element to the lamp's design and emphasises its beautiful aesthetics. As the name suggests, the lamp is inspired by the colourful plumage and exuberance of the parrot. The colours interact beautifully in a cubist pattern that gives the surface a beautiful play of colour without appearing kitschy. The lampshade is relatively wide so it does not impede light emission. The lamp is part of a whole series that includes pendant, table, floor and wall lights in many different sizes. All come in three different colour schemes based on the shades brown, green and sand.
