ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws are designed for efficient, durable timber fastenings. Featuring a patented fast-start sharp tip, they bite into wood fibres instantly to provide slip-free driving without pre-drilling. The drive is Pozi-compatible for easy installation, and the design includes six underhead lobes to improve countersinking while reinforced necks enhance holding power. An anti-friction, serrated thread reduces timber splitting and improves pull-out strength, and a double cutting point speeds drilling and reduces clogging. The screws are coated with Elementech 400, an environmentally friendly anti-corrosive finish that lasts longer than standard zinc coatings and is salt spray tested. They are suitable for interior use and capable of piercing up to 0.8mm steel."
