ForgeFast Elite Performance multi-purpose woodscrews are designed for durability and strong fixing in woodworking projects and interior carpentry. They feature an Elementech 400 anti-corrosive coating that provides corrosion resistance and have been salt spray tested for 400 hours. The screws have a deep Torx-compatible head to reduce cam-out, enable higher torque, and provide a firmer drive. A patented drill/drive shank speeds installation, reduces splitting and jacking of timber, and increases pull-out strength for a secure hold. The self-drilling thread eliminates the need for pilot holes, while the sharp point enables faster penetration and the ability to pierce up to 0.8 mm steel. The design also offers a unique self-drilling shank that drives into most substrates—even hardwood—with ease, and a hardened case and core for strength. They are suitable for interior use and can flex up to 35°, reducing the risk of screw shearing in substrates that flex in use. Ce approval indicates suitability for load-bearing timber construction, and a Torx bit is included with every box.
