ForgeFix ForgeFast Elite Performance Wood Screws are high‑performance fasteners designed for interior woodworking and light steel applications. They feature a self‑drilling thread that bites into timber without the need for a pilot hole and can penetrate steel up to 0.8 mm thick. The screws are engineered to reduce surface damage and spinning during installation, providing secure, durable fixes. Elementech 400 coating delivers corrosion resistance and enables salt spray resistance up to 400 hours. The yellow zinc surface is Cr3+‑free, environmentally friendly. With a deep Torx compatible head, these screws offer reduced cam-out, higher torque, and a firmer drive. The patented drill/drive shank drives faster, reduces splitting and “jacking” of the timber, increases pull-out resistance, and provides a firmer fix. They flex to 35° to lower the risk of screw shear in substrates that flex in use. CE approval supports use in load‑bearing timber construction.
