The ForgeFast Hexagonal/Torx Compatible Timber Screws are designed for fixing into soft or hardwood. They feature a combination hexagonal head with a deep Torx compatible insert to reduce cam-out for higher torque and a firmer drive. A super sharp tip provides immediate bite from the first turn, and a patented self-drilling thread eliminates the need to pre-drill, reducing the risk of timber splitting even when screwing near edges. With a hardened case and core, these screws offer exceptional strength and durability. Protected by the elementech 2000 surface treatment, they provide corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than some standard zinc coated screws and have impressive pull-out resistance. The screws can flex by up to 35°, reducing the likelihood of failure in flexible substrates. CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction. Finish options include tan elementech 2000, with availability in green or tan treated finishes. Size is 7 x 150mm, packed in a tub of 50.
