The ForgeFast Hexagonal/Torx® Compatible Timber Screws are designed for fixing into soft or hardwood. They combine a hexagonal head with a deep Torx® compatible insert to reduce cam-out, enabling higher torque and a firmer drive. A super sharp tip provides immediate bite from the first turn, while a patented self-drilling thread removes the need for pre-drilling and minimizes the risk of splitting, even near edges. With hardened case and core, these screws offer exceptional strength and are protected by elementech 2000, providing corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than standard zinc-coated screws. They are highly resistant to pull-out and can flex up to 35°, reducing the likelihood of shearing in flexible materials. CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction, and finished in a green elementech 2000 coating.
