General description Forgefix ForgeFast Wood Screws are designed for reliable and secure fastening in woodworking projects. They feature a Torx® compatible drive for easy installation and reduced cam-out. The screws have recessed ribs that improve countersinking and minimize surface dust, while their reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding strength. A patented drill and drive thread reduces splitting of the timber, prevents jacking and spinning of joined pieces, and increases pull-out resistance for a firmer fix. A sharp point allows for faster penetration and can pierce up to 0.8mm steel. Coated with Elementech 400, these screws offer an anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, is environmentally friendly, and salt spray tested for 400 hours.
