Forgefix FORTFCL55109 Roofing Screw Timber to Steel Light Section 5.5 x 109mm Pack 50

Forgefix TechFast Roofing Screws are designed for joining timber to steel and for use with light section purlins. Each pack contains 50 screws featuring a countersunk Torx drive for a secure, flush finish. The self-drilling point enables quick installation, and wings create a clearance hole in timber to prevent jacking during fixing. Coated with a durable Elementech finish, these screws offer superior corrosion resistance and have been salt spray tested for up to 1,000 hours. They are suitable for fixing timber to steel sheets with thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 4 mm, and are compatible with standard Torx bits (included in each pack). Size is 5.5 x 109 mm with a maximum fixing length of 86 mm, making them appropriate for light-duty steel connections in timber framing.
