Forgefix TechFast Roofing Screws are designed for securely fastening timber to steel, especially in heavy sections such as purlins. They feature a countersunk, Torx-compatible head that sits flush with the surface, and a self-drilling point for quick installation. Breakaway wings create a clearance hole in the timber to prevent jacking during fixing. The screws are coated with Elementech for anti-corrosion protection and have been salt spray tested for up to 1,000 hours, ensuring durability in harsh environments. They are suitable for timber-to-steel applications with thicknesses from 6.0 mm to 12.5 mm. Each pack contains 50 screws, size 5.5 x 85 mm, with a Torx-compatible bit included for immediate use.
