Caravaggio™ movable wall light with plug and switch This wall light can be used in a variety of ways in living rooms, offices or bedrooms. It is made entirely of die-cast zinc. Its arm can be adjusted and, thanks to the flexible neck, the lampshade can also be swivelled so that the light can be perfectly aligned to individual needs. A toggle switch is built into the wall mount for convenient operation. Thanks to the long PVC plug cable, the Caravaggio™ wall lamp can be installed anywhere there is a power point nearby. Caravaggio™ was designed by Cecilie Manz, a Danish designer who was exposed to the world of design at an early age through her artist parents. After studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and spending a semester abroad at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, she founded her own studio. In her work – she designs furniture, lights, ceramics and accessories for the home – her focus is on interpreting the Scandinavian tradition of simplicity with a modern, international expression. The works of the renowned, award-winning designer – Manz has received the Berlin ART Prize (2008) and the Bruno Mathsson Prize (2009), among others – can be seen in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum Danmark. The FRITZ HANSEN company was founded in 1885 after carpenter Fritz Hansen obtained a trading licence for Copenhagen in 1872. The company gained a high reputation for its high-quality products and collaboration with well-known designers within the first 50 years of its existence. Premium quality characterises the products of the company, which has not been family-owned since 1979, but is now largely owned by Skandinavisk Holding. Since its introduction in the 1930s, high-quality plywood furniture has been the trademark of FRITZ HANSEN. Many renowned architects and designers, such as Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner and Verner Panton, have collaborated with FRITZ HANSEN.

Lamp MastersCecilie Manz’s overall goal with this elegant collection was to create a simple and soft shape. A design icon since its launch in 2005, the Caravaggio family has grown to include table and floor lamps in a range of sophisticated colours and finishes and is more popular today than ever. During the design process the lamp evolved through a series of different shapes, resulting in Caravaggio’s softly feminine lines. The depth of the shade ensures that the pendant doesn’t create glare regardless of where you place it. Furthermore, Caravaggio Read is equipped with small slits in the top of the lampshade to ensure an upward-facing light. The Caravaggio Read wall lamp in White is delivered with two different mounting brackets. The large one can be mounted over a socket, so the lamp has no visible wiring, whereas the small one includes a cable. The switch is mounted under the bracket to ensure that it is discreet yet easily accessible.
