Recommendation for use Place the device with the solar panel facing south-west and free from vegetation. Ground it with one 1-metre earth stake (#008735) or a 2x0.5m double earth stake (#090457). Do not place it on the ground, but use the included holder (#571126) to mount it on a post or earth stake, or the stand (#007509) that can be driven into the ground and also serves as an earth stake. The red and green cables with alligator clips to connect the device to the fence and earth stake are included. After purchase or storage, allow the device to fully charge itself in daylight for three days first by placing it in the off position facing south.
