Before a model is put into production, Gallagher puts its models through extreme tests. Firstly every model is dropped from 1 meter on a hard concrete surface. This will be done for every surface of the energiser. An energiser only passes the test if it is protected by its case and still performing as good as new. Another test done is the temperature stress test. The energiser is put in a cabinet where the temperature drops to -80 °C and increases to +180 °C. If the model is still fully functional after these tests, it is ready for production. To ensure the model you receive keeps up to its promises, it is tested for 24 hours before being shipped. If any failure occurs during these 24 hours, the product will be disapproved. Therefor you will always receive a fully functional device. The Gallagher MBS200 is a robust 3-in-1 multi power energiser. This versatile device can operate on mains power (230V), a separate 12V battery, or a 12V battery with a solar panel. You can easily choose the power source you want to use with the rotary knob, ensuring you always have a suitable power supply. This allows you to use the MBS200 anywhere – from permanent fences at the farm to mobile pastures deep in the field – without compromising safety or reliability. With a charging energy of 2 J (pulse 1.5 J) and a maximum output voltage of 9000 volts, the device is suitable for fences up to 20 kilometres (8 ha). Under normal conditions, it is suitable for fences up to 5 km. It keeps horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and hobby animals safely in their pasture. Smart battery management for long-term solar energy operation The device has LED lights that show the status of the fence. If these turn red or you notice a change, you know it's time to investigate. When the system is set to solar panel mode, the built-in Smart Battery Management System activates. This monitors the battery voltage, checks if the solar panel provides enough power, and automatically reduces the pulse frequency and voltage when it consumes more than it charges for an extended period and the battery becomes too low. This ensures the fence stays energised for as long as possible, while the battery has the opportunity to fully recharge faster with adequate daylight.
