Rich Highland single malt finished in two red wine barriques, bottled at 52.1% ABV. Dark fruit notes of blackcurrant, plum and cherry with pastry and marzipan; bold palate of spice, tobacco and bitter orange; long, dry, tannic finish. Glen Garioch Thompson Bros - Single Malt Scotch 20 year old 52.1% ABV Nose: Aromas of blackcurrant concentrate with marzipan and pastry, lifted by sun-dried raisins, violets, brambles, plums and cherry liqueur. Palate: Bright, tart red fruit drives the palate—Sour Patch Kids and Ribena mingle with damson and fig, wrapped in cinnamon spice. Chewing tobacco adds earthy depth, while black pepper provides a keen bite and a whisper of bitter orange. Finish: Long, dry and tannic, with dark cacao and a slightly acetic edge.
