THE GLENDRONACH ODE TO THE VALLEY: A fruity, full-bodied 46.2% ABV Highland single malt from the Master's Anthology, matured in ruby port and signature sherry casks. MATURED IN RUBY PORT & SHERRY CASKS: Matured in ruby port casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal and The Glendronach's signature sherry casks, giving a burnished copper colour. Unpeated. RICH TASTING NOTES: Late-summer berries and chocolate de leche imbued with sweet demerara and apricot glaze; blackberry and roasted apple crumble with freshly baked gingerbread and sweet damson plum. CRAFTED SINCE 1826: Composed by Dr Rachel Barrie as an exploration of the bredth and depth of sherry cask maturation at The Glendronach Distillery, in the Valley of Forgue in the Scottish Highlands.
