Lights.co Iguazu ceiling light with a hand-crafted jute lampshade Iguazu is named after the waterfalls on the border between Brazil and Argentina; they are the largest waterfalls in South America and a popular tourist destination. Just as the water flows downwards, so too do the delicate lines of the round jute lampshade. The lampshades are largely handcrafted by artisans in Vietnam. The ceiling light is made from the popular natural fibre jute, which is characterised by its special properties. In addition to its robustness, jute is considered very stretchy and tear-resistant, whilst its sustainable qualities are also worth highlighting. The main growing area consists of fertile alluvial soils, thanks to which the undemanding jute plant does not require fertiliser. This offers a major advantage for the environment and farmers compared to intensive cotton cultivation. These aspects align with the core philosophy of the Dutch brand Good & Mojo, which aims to create sustainable lights with its collection whilst making a positive impact.
