Lamp Masters the 9602 Floor Lamp Brass/Pierre Frey is an iconic piece of design history dating back to 1935, when the first 9602 Floor Lamp was conceived by Finnish designer Paavo Tynell for Hotel Aulanko in Helsinki. The lamp is characterised by an elegant design that gracefully combines different geometric shapes into a cohesive whole. The frame and base are made of brass with a shiny surface polish, while the beautiful motifs of the lampshade are a nod to the Parisian textile house Maison Pierre Frey. This adds a dreamlike dimension to Tynell's creation and successfully connects northern and southern European design traditions. The frame is also wrapped in rattan, giving the lamp a tactile element. To top it all off, the very top of the lampshade is dominated by a brass element that beautifully matches the base, creating the 9602 Floor Lamp's distinctive signature. the 9602 Floor Lamp is an entire collection and is available in a multitude of different versions. &l/b&g&l/a&g

Designer floor lamp 9602 with flat cone shade in Pierre Frey Edition The 9602 floor lamp impresses with its timelessly elegant beauty and can be used as an effective additional light source in combination with numerous furnishing styles. It consists of a polished brass base from which a rattan-wrapped frame extends upwards. This supports a fabric shade, whose flat conical shape has given the light the nickname "Chinese hat". The lampshade was designed by the renowned Parisian interior designer Pierre Frey and features the romantic nature motif "Le Jardin Du Palais". 9602 was created by the Finnish designer, blacksmith and master craftsman Paavo Tynell (1890 - 1973) in 1938 for the interior design of the Hotel Aulanko. The Danish manufacturer Gubi - a specialist in the field of high-quality furniture and lights - reissued the 9602 model.
