1972 Bamboo Pendant Light beautifully combines classic design elements with fresh natural style in a harmonious balance that not only enriches the room with an efficient light source but also gives it an aesthetic boost. The lampshade is made from bamboo canes that are hand-sewn to form a pleated mat, which is then lined with linen canvas on the inside before being attached to a cone-shaped metal frame that gives the lampshade its characteristic shape. As the icing on the cake, the lamp is fitted with beautiful brass details that give the design a touch of timelessness. Particularly decorative is the small brass filigree element placed directly in the centre of the base of the shade. The base of the shade is covered by a white fabric diffuser, so the light source is enclosed on all sides. This provides soft, diffused lighting on all sides. the 1972 Pendant light comes in several sizes and versions. One of these has a pull mechanism to adjust the height of the lamp.

Natural 1972 pendant light with elegant detail - Vintage design by Paavo Tynell The 1972 pendant light from the Danish brand GUBI is a cosy source of light with an elegant and natural character in living and lounge areas. The conical lampshade is made of natural bamboo elements. A light-diffusing cover is added to the underside so that pleasant table or area lighting can be achieved with two E27 bulbs inserted inside. The structure with a decorative, spiral-shaped element underneath the lampshade is made of polished brass. The design of this 1950s-style hanging light comes from industrial designer Paavo Tynell, whose concepts are considered milestones in Finnish lighting design and who is known as "the man who made Finland light".
