GUBI Semi pendant light, Ø 47 cm, chrome

Decorative Semi hanging light with classic chic Danish designers Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup are responsible for the design of the Semi hanging light. They have succeeded in creating a light source that stands out thanks to its classic shape and creates a very atmospheric lighting effect, making Semi ideal for basic lighting in a room and especially as a light source above a table. The harmonious design with its concave, upward-tapered shape blends in with many interior styles. The two designers Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup have been working together since graduating from the Danish School of Architecture in 1969. They initially worked in the office of architect Henning Larsen. Since then, Bonderup and Thorup have designed clocks and shop interiors for Georg Jensen and the Arcticum Museum (Finland), among other things, and were responsible for the harbour facilities in Helsingør, from urban planning to the ferry terminal.
