Lamp Masters
The Turbo pendant light Ø62 Glossy Alabaster White/White was designed in 1965 by Louis Weisdorf, but only went into production in 1967 and has enjoyed great success over the years. The design exemplifies style at its best: it is simple in form but complex in structure, combining a sense of lightness and strength in a beautiful sculptural pendant.
The inspiration for the lamp comes from Japanese rice paper lamps, which have been transformed into a more durable and robust version. The outer baskets of the lamp are made of twelve similar spiral slats that form a flower-like planet that protects the light. The Turbo pendant is a perfect example of Weisdorf's passion for multiplying multiple elements, which he used in most of his works.

Lights.coTurbo pendant light with round lampshade in a glossy alabaster white spiral design The Turbo pendant light has a stylish design. It consists of twelve identical aluminium slats with a glossy alabaster white finish, which are shaped into a spiral and combined to form a very aesthetic, round lampshade. In combination with the radiant light of the bulb, this creates a unique lighting effect. The decorative design is by Louis Weisdorf (1932-2021), a well-known Danish architect and industrial designer. Weisdorf designed this classic back in 1965, which won the iF Design Award and is currently produced by the Danish label Gubi.
