Anodized aluminum table lamp PC with downlight light effect PC is a table lamp by French designer Pierre Charpin, made of anodized aluminum. A cylindrical base supports a shade in a curved shape, in which sits the illuminant. This emits light downwards through a translucent, injection-molded diffuser made of polycarbonate, which on the one hand ensures glare-free and soft lighting and on the other hand impressively stages the shape of the table lamp. A weight integrated into the base guarantees the best stability. The table lamp is equipped with a braided textile cable with Euro plug and to regulate the brightness, a step dimmer was integrated at the bottom of the foot. Pierre Charpin designed the table lamp PC for the Danish company HAY. The designs of the Parisian designer are characterized by the interplay of form and color. Basic geometric shapes combined with colors characterize his works and are a constant aspect of his work.
