This glorious single grain from the Invergordon Distillery was distilled in January 1990 and allowed a rather generous maturation period of 31 years! Drawn from a single cask, a total of 313 bottles were independently released by Duncan Taylor for its Rare Auld series. Nose: Sweet citrus with orange peel and juicy lemon, buttery pastry, and gentle grist. Palate: Honeyed cereal, chocolate Brazil nuts, some darker notes of blackberry and raisin. Finish: Frangipane, flaked almonds, and more citrus sweetness with smooth oak and candied ginger.
