It features a four-faceted ground tip for accurate centering and low drilling pressure, supporting efficient performance. The drill body is made from chrome vanadium steel, hardened to 56 Rockwell C, with a tungsten carbide tip capable of cutting materials up to 50 Rockwell C. Compatible with stationary drill machines, it is intended for drilling hardened materials with appropriate coolant. A coolant is recommended at 3–6% emulsion to enhance performance and longevity. Users should secure the drill in the chuck and select an appropriate speed for drilling hardened steel, applying coolant during operation to prevent overheating and wear.
