TROPICAL CRADLE OF RHUM ARGRICOLE: Located in the heart of the Caribbean, the Fonds-Préville Distillery was established in 1845 by Jean-Marie Martin ( Aka J.M) in the north-east of the island of Martinique (France). It is nestled at the foot of Mount Pelée in a green setting of incredible biodiversity. The cane fields are in the immediate vicinity of the distillery, set in the middle of the 300-hectare Fonds-Préville estate created in 1790. A DOUBLE TOAST FOR MORE CHARACTER: This rum aged in American oak barrels that have benefited from a double - heating ( Intense & Extreme) draws its exceptional character from the environment of Mount Pelee. TASTING NOTES: fruity notes (banana & flambé pineapple) and honeyed and spicy notes with vanilla. Powerful and gourmet , it is embellished with woody and empyreumatic notes (toast & hazelnut) which give it an aromatic profile full of character.
